Changelog

What shipped, and when

Newest first. Anything that changes what you see is listed here, including the things that were wrong before.

  • New

Notifications: hear when your video is ready

The bell now tells you when a video or a change is ready, when one needs a fix, and when a creator you follow publishes something new.

  • New

For your LMS: SCORM packages and embed codes

Download a published video as a SCORM 1.2 package that reports completion and time spent to your LMS, or copy an embed code for any web page.

    • SCORM packages are part of the University / Business plan.
  • New

Explore: search, filters, likes, favourites and remixes

Search shared videos and filter them by audience, subject or tag. Give a thumb or a star, save favourites, follow creators, and remix a public video into your own.

    • Subjects and tags are filled in for you when you publish, and you can change them on the Share tab.
    • Remixing starts your own draft from the published script; you check the script before anything is made.
  • New

    Statistics for every shared video

See how many watched, how many reached the end, how far the average viewer got, and where people stopped — counted anonymously, never who.

  • Better

Publishing in four steps, with a cover and a QR code

Choose who can watch, pick a cover picture, confirm you have watched it through, then share the link or its QR code. The header shows which version viewers see.

  • Better

An AI label on every video

A small label in the corner says the video was made with AI, in the video’s own language. It is on by default; you can switch it off in the detailed settings.

  • New

Credits: what you have, and what a video costs

Every account has a monthly allowance of credits, shown in the header and in Settings. A video is charged only once it is ready — if it fails or you stop it, it costs nothing.

  • New

Explainer videos from a topic or your documents

Describe a topic or upload your material. The studio writes a script, records the narration, designs every scene and puts it together as an MP4 with captions.

    • Short, medium or long, in the tone and the voice you pick.
    • Every scene is checked for how it looks, and repaired where needed, before the video is put together.
    • Captions come as their own file (VTT and SRT), and can also be burned into the picture.
  • New

How-to videos: a narrated recording of a website

Give the address and say what to show. The studio explores the site, writes a storyboard, records it in a real browser and narrates each step.

    • Sites behind a sign-in work too. The sign-in details are encrypted, never shown again, and never included in an export.
    • You choose whether the sign-in itself appears in the recording.
  • New

Approve the script before anything is recorded

Optionally, a video stops once its script (or a how-to’s storyboard) is written, so you can read it, edit it or ask for changes first.

    • Nothing is narrated or recorded until you approve, so a wrong turn costs a minute, not a whole video.
  • New

Change a finished video by asking

Describe the change in the chat beside the video — a different example, a shorter scene — and it is made for you.

    • Attach a document or a picture to a request when the change needs one.
    • A request made while a video is still generating is kept, and applied when it finishes.
  • New

Share a video by link, or list it on Explore

A shared link plays a frozen published copy, so editing a video never changes what somebody is halfway through watching.

    • Three choices: private, anyone with the link, or listed on Explore.
    • Viewers need no account, and nothing that identifies them is stored.
    • Anyone watching can report a problem with a video, and a person reads every report.
